Important Notice to Landowners

Each owner of land in the Parish has been served with a notice requiring the return of details for all land, houses, buildings, and other structures owned as at 1 January 2026.

All completed forms were due by 15 January 2026.

Any forms that are currently recorded as not returned will shortly be referred for a Parish Hall enquiry, which may result in a fine of up to £1,000.

Emergency closure of Mont au Roux at 7pm 12/01/2026-Dangerous Tree

Following storm Goretti, I&E with the help of AAA tress Services, will need to close this evening from 7pm a section of Mont au Roux circled on the map below. This will allow for a tree that is presenting a significant risk to the public to be cut down.

Apologies in advance for any disruption this may cause. Please cascade to your teams and make any arrangements necessary to mitigate the impact this may have on your services. The Duty officer on site will be Peter Preston-Yates – 07700 709333 in case anyone needs to reach out.
