Important Notice to Landowners

Each owner of land in the Parish has been served with a notice requiring the return of details for all land, houses, buildings, and other structures owned as at 1 January 2026.

All completed forms were due by 15 January 2026.

Any forms that are currently recorded as not returned will shortly be referred for a Parish Hall enquiry, which may result in a fine of up to £1,000.

Jersey Royal Competition

On Tuesday 14th May the Parish of St Brelade hosted the Jersey Royal Competition organised by Genuine Jersey and sponsored by Homefields. The competition was open to any parish Occupation VIP’s , Primary Schools, & Parish Connetable’s

The Competition has 2 categories:

  1. Weight in Grams, of the Jersey Royal New Potatoes Grown in a single bucket (excluding the 2 seeded potatoes planted)
  2. Number of Jersey Royal New Potatoes Grown in a single bucket (excluding the 2 seeded potatoes planted.

The winner of The St Brelade Parish competition was Mrs Dinah Pallot who has been invited to attend the award ceremony hosted by St Lawrence Parish Hall on Thursday 16th May for the announcement of the overall winner. We wish Mrs Dinah Pallot all the best of luck .
