Important Notice to Landowners

Each owner of land in the Parish has been served with a notice requiring the return of details for all land, houses, buildings, and other structures owned as at 1 January 2026.

All completed forms were due by 15 January 2026.

Any forms that are currently recorded as not returned will shortly be referred for a Parish Hall enquiry, which may result in a fine of up to £1,000.

If you believe you have not received a form for your property, or if you have any queries, please contact us as soon as possible.

St Brélade Nomination Meeting

St Brélade Nomination Meeting 

Nomination meetings will be held on 3 February 2026 at St Brélade Parish Hall at 7.00 for the following business. 

  1. To elect one Centenier for a 3-year term of officer expiring March 2029 
  1. To elect one Procureur du Bien Public for a 3-year term of office expiring March 2029 

All electors welcome to attend 

A nomination form for each candidate for election must be produced to the meeting and must be completed by a proposer and 9 seconders who are electors in the parish. 

In each election:  

  • if there are more candidates than vacancies, a poll will be held on Wednesday 11 March 2026 
  • if there are not more candidates than vacancies, any duly nominated candidate will be declared elected at the nomination meeting 

To vote in this election you must have registered by midday on Monday 2 February 2026.
