Rates 2026
All rate Demands for 2026 have now been sent. If you owned or occupied a property in St Brélade on 1st January 2026 you should have received one. If you have not,  and believe you should have , please email us at- [email protected] or call us on 741141 so we can ensure we have the correct details.
If you pay your Parish Rates by Standing Order, please check that your payment amount is sufficient to cover your total Rate Demand before any surcharge is applied. As Standing Orders are managed by the account holder, it is your responsibility to amend the payment amount if necessary.
Payment deadline: 4.00 pm on Tuesday, 27 October 2026
Any outstanding balance after this time will be subject to a 10% surcharge.

Rates Assessments & Demands Information

Dear Parishioner

If you owned or occupied a property on 1st January 2026 and requested email communication you will have recently received your Rates Assessment, Postal Assessments should arrive in the next few days. After this date , if you have not received one then please get in touch. Please note- This is not a demand for payment, but to simply inform you of your Quarters for your assessment of land.

Your Rates Demand will be issued around late July, after the rate is officially set at a Parish Assembly ( Date to be confirmed ) . Don’t forget – you have a say in this , so keep an eye out for the meeting date. Once issued, you’ll have until October to pay ( Exact date to be confirmed ).

Did you know? You can set up a standing order in advance ( anytime from now until October ) to spread the cost in monthly payments instead of paying one lump sum- Making things easier on your finances.
